He is survived by: his children, William Dedeyne (Sue), Anne Cox (John), Diane Werner (Dale), Lori Howden (Bob), Janet Lucas (Robert), Jacci Kinnear (late Jim), Jeannie Beckerson (Gord), Ron Spain, Bob Spain, Rick Spain (Carol) and Keith Spain (Joan); and his siblings, Cam Dedeyne (Erma) and Rose Carter (Wayne).
