He was predeceased by: his wife Ingrid; and his parents, Georg Fehlings and Else Fehlings. He is survived by: his sons, Dr. Michael Fehlings (Darcy Fehlings) and Steven (Pam O'Grady); his grandchildren, Dr. Tara Fehlings (Darren Gray), Lauren (Matt Reeves), Nicholas (Sawan), Adam, Madelyn, Abby, Theo, Arthur, Farley and Eloise; and his siblings, Heinz, Else and Guenther. He is also survived by the grandchildren and great grandchildren.
If desired, in lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made in George's name to the Fehlings Spinal Cord Injury Research Program, Krembil Brain Institute at Toronto Western Hospital.
