He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Skelding and Vera Skelding of St. Thomas; and his siblings, William, Lois Neal and Don.

He is survived by: his wife Nora; his children, Dean (Zelia), Terri (Gord Snell), Lee-Anne (Michelle) and Lindsay; his grandchildren, Amanda, Carlye, Katelyn, Erin, Briar, Courtney, Kenny, Madison, Liam, Alex, Kevin, Jakob, Markus and Matthew; and his great grandchildren, Abby, Aiden, Brody and Scarlett.

As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to H-N Senior Support Services, or H-N Alzheimer's Society.
