She was predeceased by: her husband Vernon Arthur Roy; her children, Cheri Roy and Dean Roy; her nephews, Clifford Simon and Marvin Simon; her grandchildren, Zoe Corbiere (Shawn Panamick), Dean Debassige (Jillian Cain), Kingsley Roy, Mitchell Roy, Vesta Roy, Lexa-Marie Roy, Scarlette Meawasige-Shawana, Christiana Pitawanakwat, Maverick Simon, Jazmyn Antoine and Trinity Simon; her great grandchildren, Gavin Corbiere, Vernon Roy and Conor Corbiere; her parents, Theodore Simon and Pearl Simon; and her siblings, Mitchell Simon, Marjorie Corbiere (late Dan), Godfrey Simon, Thomas Simon, Clarence Simon, Leonard Simon and Walter Simon.
She is survived by: her close friend Debbie. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, sister-in-laws and friends.
A wake was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Sheshegwaning Community Complex (Sheshegwaning Rd, Manitoulin District, ON P0P). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
