He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon McKechnie and Luella McKechnie; and his sister Connie LaRue. He is survived by: his children, Adam (Christina), Angela Alderson (Mike), Gordon (Kristen) and Bradley (Sara); his grandchildren, Taylor, Morgan, Austin, Ocean Ann, Avarie, Danny, David, Gabriel, Jordyn, Ryan, Andrew, Joshua and Owen; his great grandchild Graham; and his siblings, Jean Gilkes (late Ron), Ruth Park (late Hugh Owen), John (Ann), Doug (Debbie), Jim (Juanita) and Gerald (Cheryl). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
