She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth McEwan (Taylor) and James McEwan; and her husband Patrick. She is survived by: her daughter Alana Beth; her son-in-law Alan Hamill; her grandchildren, Ava Quinn, Blake Patrick and Connor James; and her nieces and nephews, Patricia (Glenn Docherty), Alison (John Dixon), Alex Magennis and Francis (Jill Cronin). She is also survived by her extended family and friends.
