She was predeceased by: her husband James Downie. She is survived by: her siblings, Valerie, Susan, Jean and Brian; her children, James, Robert and Katherine (Michael Ronaldson); her grandchildren, Samantha, Megan (Megan Girl), Brittany, MacKenzie, Leandro, Destiny, Mckayla and Riley; and her great grandchildren, Kyleigh, Kobe, Kioko and Jordan. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.

Memorial donations to Diabetes Association or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Donations are being accepted for: DIABETES CANADA CANADIAN CANCER SOCIETY - SOCIÉTÉ CANADIENNE DU CANCER (CANADIAN CANCER SOCIETY - SOCIETE CANADIENNE DU CANCER).
