He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Doucette and Joan Doucette; his in-laws, Claude and Shirley Therrien; and his sister-in-law Theresa Beauline (late Richard).

He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his stepchildren, Corinne Onovo (Chibuzo), Curtis Aikens (Rose) and Nicole Wood (William); his siblings, Debbie Nicholas (Randy), Don Doucette (Jane), Denise Prpich (Brian) and Darlene Doucette; his brother-in-law Wade Therrien (Brenda); his friends, David Hart and Juanita; and also Theresa Dewar. He is also survived by his many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
