He was predeceased by: his brother Bob Simmons (Carol); his parents, Gordon Simmons and Irene Simmons; his parents-in-law, Johnny and Almetta McMahan (Grandma Mett); and his siblings-in-law, Bob McMahan (late Susan) and Kathy Pateman (Tom).
He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Gary (Karen Wasslen), Michele (Luis Guerrero) and Glenn Simmons (Cherie); his grandchildren, Andrew, Gordon, Emily, Lauren and Logan; and his sister Joanne Wuori (Alfred).
