He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Ryckman and Ruth Ryckman of Shannonville; and his siblings, Barry, Sandra, Ronald and Monica.

He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Nancy Waite (late Tony) of Hamilton and Paul Ryckman (Latara) of Trenton; his granddaughters, Marissa, Mara Waite and Moira Ryckman; his brothers, Danny and Leslie; and his daughter Linda (Eric). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
