He was predeceased by: his sister Lorraine Hickey of Newfoundland; his son Allan; and his parents, Bridget Joyce and Thomas Joyce. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his children, Robert Jr. (Annette) of Owen Sound, Joseph (Dana) of Owen Sound, Ron of Guelph, Sheryl (Daniel Corman) of London and England; his daughter-in-law Lois of Owen Sound; his grandchildren, Jessica (Chuck), Martin (Krystle), Kelli, Megan (Russell), Robyn (Kyle), Rory (Chantel), Kelsey (Scotty), Connor (Carleen), Charley, Cheyenne and Aiden; and his great grandchildren, Isabel, Forrest, James, Wesley and Kieran. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
