He was predeceased by: his sister Rita (Bob Olgilvie); and his sister-in-law Ailsa Doolan (Tom). He is survived by: his wife Myra; his children, Lorna Murphy (Len Eby), John Murphy (late Katherine) and Steve Murphy (Lisa); and his grandchildren, Scott Murphy and Shannon Murphy (Liam Hawley).
