He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Fear and Margaret Fear (Née Nichol); his brother-in-law Allen Bridge; and his grandson Brent Powell. He is survived by: his wife Verna Edgar; his children, Rosemarie, Martin Schell, Murray, Carolyn Fear, David and Laurie Fear; his grandchildren, James (Stacy Fear), Dustin (Michelle Fear), Tonia (Jeremy Fitch), Kaitlyn (Sarah Fear), Anthony (Katie De Boer), Rachel (Mike Bernard), Raymond (Heather De Boer) and Adam De Boer; his children, Rick Powell, Susanne, Paul Rose and Paul Edgar; his grandchildren, Lindsey (Jason Anstett), Ryan Powell (Kaytlin McDougall), Michelle Powell (Scott Wilson), Nathan (Jordan Rose) and Kourtney (Katelyn Knights); and his siblings, Phyllis Biggen (Dennis Jewitt), Marilyn Bridge, Larry (Linda Fear), Wayne (Barb Fear) and Bruce (Joyce Fear). He is also survived by 23 great grandchildren.
