He was predeceased by: his spouse Maxine Houston; his parent Rae Houston; his sibling Brenda; his parent-in-law Max Watts; and his sibling-in-law Chris Watts.

He is survived by: his children, Jillian, Chris Csöff, Darryl and Jodi Houston; his grandchildren, Eli and Emmett; his parent Lois Houston; his siblings, Bob, Linda Houston, Dennis Mathers, Glenna Houston, Janice and Gord Carnochan; his parent-in-law Barbara Watts; his siblings-in-law, Stephanie, Murray Kellington, David, Darrin Watts, Trina, Brad McBride, Ruth Ann and Kim Schroeder; and his aunts and uncles, Stephen, Judy Watts and Jean MacKinnon.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Huron Residential Hospice or the LHSC Children's Hospital (cheques: Children's Health Foundation) would be appreciated and can be made through the funeral home.
