He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Betty; his grandchildren, David, Eliza, James, Anna and Jacob; his parents, Joseph Burns and Phyllis Burns; his stepfather Angus Brown; his brother Ken Burns; his siblings-in-law, Diane Burns, Ross Alexander, Conrad Eckert and Claire Eckert; and also, Conrad (Pam), Art (Tracy Bisback) and James (Jenn).
