He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jerry Nelemans of Birr and Rhonda Weatherbee of Nova Scotia; his sisters, Libby and Hannah of Birr; his grandparents, Janice Smith of Listowel, Kenneth Smith of Nova Scotia, Lorraine Nelemans of Grand Bend and Terri Adams of Nova Scotia; his uncle Jonathon Smith of Toronto; his aunt Christine Nelemans of Grand Bend; his cousins, Jenna and Wade Coombs; his grandfather Jack Nelemans; and his cousin Wesley Coombs.
