He was predeceased by: his child Luke Anderson; his parents, Eric Anderson and Marjorie Anderson; his parents-in-law, Gordon McDougall and Thelma Johnston (Ken); and his brother-in-law Dan Taylor.

He is survived by: his spouse Diane Anderson; his children, Kyle Anderson (Megan) of London, Adam Anderson (Veronica) of St. Columban and Cody Anderson (Stacey) of Blyth; his siblings, Jim Anderson (Marg) of Guelph, Lynda Horbanuik (Leo) of Guelph, Pat Arts (Gary) of Guelph, Mary Lou Eichorn (Paul) of Guelph and Jane Paille (Stephan) of London; and his siblings-in-law, Wayne McDougall (Debbie) of Blyth, Bill McDougall (Brenda) of Blyth, Shirley Taylor (Dave Armstrong) of Varna and Kevin McDougall (Terri Harrison) of Bayfield.
