He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Mary Van Loon; his children, Jack Van Loon of Topping, Rob Van Loon of Seaforth, Helen Van Loon (Bruce McCallum) of Forest, Jo Cronin (Chris Verhoeven) of Kitchener and Rose Ann Pollard; his grandchildren, Corey Cronin (Deanna) of Kitchener, Dana Cronin of Kitchener, Opa of James and Tristan Cronin; and his siblings, Denny Van Loon (Mary) of Alexandria, Betty Van Heyst (late Hubert) of Forest, Corry Van Loon (Jo) of Martintown, Mary Van Loon (late Bill) of Finch, Peter Van Loon (Lorraine) of Williamstown, William Akkermans (late Joanne) of Alexandria, Andy Van Loon (late Mary) of Kitchener and Tony Van Loon. He was also cherished by siblings-in-law, and his nieces, nephews and friends.
