James Mathewson Obituary

In the sacred silence of farewell, James is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that James' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Mathewson and Katheleen Mathewson (Brunt); and his sister Nora Roggie (Mathewson). He is survived by: his wife Sheila Mathewson (Drummond); his children, Steven Mathewson and Heather Mathewson Jelsma (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Connor, Brody Mathewson, Carson and Scott Jelsma. He is also survived by good friends, love your partner and children.

In honour of Brian's courageous battle with cancer and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
