He was predeceased by: his former wife Jane; his daughter Patricia; his parents, Vivian Ladd and Harvey Burrows; his stepfather Milton Masseland; and his siblings, Toni Massel (Margaret), Theresa Shular and Gladys Brisebois (Claude).

He is survived by: his wife Theresa Dietrich-Ladd; his children, Peter Ladd (Sonya), Norina MacDonald (Jim), Charles Ladd (Susanne) and Dennis Ladd (Anita); and his siblings-in-law, Bonnie Cooper, Florence Kuehl, Leanne Phelan (Glen Roswell), Jan Elliot (Jim), Lorres Vaughan (Mike), Evelyn Rouse, Ellie Harness (Gary), Deb Richards-Shular, Rosemary Goss (Stan) and Angie Livolsi (Denis).

As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to Huron Residential Hospice would be appreciated and can be made through the funeral home.
