It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beatrice Smitjes (Seaforth, Ontario), born in Stratford, Ontario, who passed away on July 24, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Robert Smitjes; and her brothers, Walter Smitjes, George Smitjes and Robert Smitjes. She is survived by: her parent Adeline Beltz; her children, Cathy Anne MacDonald (Steve) and Darlene Romanik (Shawn); her siblings, Dorothy Rumble (late Lawrence), Betty Pearson (late Arthur), Benjamin Smitjes (late Leda) and Ruby Robertson (late James); her grandchildren, Crystal Smitjes (Brandon) and Amy Maddess; and her great grandchildren, Colt Smitjes and Adam Smitjes. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews.
