He was predeceased by: his parents, George Forrest and Jessie Forrest of Scotland; and his nephew Grant. He is survived by: his sons, Brian Forrest (Christine) of Burlington and Eric Forrest (Gaile) of Toulouse, France.; his daughter-in-law Heather Shaheen; his grandchildren, Jessie Forrest and Cole Forrest; and his sister Doreen Reid.

Memorial donations may be made to the Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church or to the Parkinson's Research at Parkwood Institute.
