He is survived by: his wife Ann Vanry; his siblings, Jimmy Beattie (Dorothy) and Moira McMath (Mervyn); his children, Carole Giles (Alan), Alistair Beattie, Rick Vanry (Kim), Diana Vanry (Terry) and Jane Weir (Gord); and his grandchildren, Melody (Sam), Sarah (Mathieu), Aaron, Michaella, Stefan and Reed.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Rockton United Church (792 Old Hwy 8, Rockton, ON L0R1X0).
