He is survived by: his wife Ann (McDonald); his children, Stephen, Janice (George) and Tracy; his grandchildren, Michael (Monica), Bradley, Brianna, Kaitlyn, Alexandria and Mackenzie; and his brother William "Billy" Munro (late Douglas).
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial donations to either the Walker Family Cancer Center (Niagara Health System) or to Crohn's and Colitis Canada.
