She was predeceased by: her husband Robert; and her grandsons, Dakota Petrikowski and Brandon Davis. She is survived by: her children, Klaus Petrikowski (Sandra), Krista Davis and Frank Petrikowski (Claire); and her grandchildren, Mackenzie (Ashley), Joshua (Carly), Nicklaus and Hunter.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service and interment will take place in the future as COVID-19 restrictions allow.

In lieu of flowers for the family, donations to the Alzheimer's Society may be made in Marie's memory.
