He was predeceased by: his aunts, Erie and Maureen; his uncle Ambrose; his parents, Phyllis McParland and Gordon McParland; his brothers, Robert and Norman Patrick; his siblings-in-law, David and Mary; and his cousins, Greg, Warren and Brent Morrill (Ollie).

He is survived by: his children, Matthew (Sarah), Natalie (Robert) and Shellie; his caregiver Terry; his grandchildren, Kaelyn, Eden, William, Everett and Iris; and his sisters, Doris, Judi, Sheila and Kelly.
