When I was working downtown on Bay St. Father Whelan would celebrate mass at lunch time for all those who attended at St. Stephen's Chapel on Bay St. A few years later, when attending a Funeral Mass for our Condominium President at St. Dominic's Church, Mississauga, I was most fortunate to meet Father Whelan at that mass.
