He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy. He is survived by: his children, Gavin, Colin and Susan; his children-in-law, Dawne, Lisa and Reg; his grandchildren, Stacey, Candace, Cory, Kristy and Connor; his brother Colin; and his sister-in-law Evelyn.

While running a successful business they both gave unselfishly of their time to charity work for sick children in Canada and the United States.
