She was predeceased by: her parents, Captain John and Violet Puddister; her son Jeffrey; and her siblings, Captain Michael, Angus, Captain Ronald, Winnie, Barbara and Betty.

She is survived by: her grandchild Dawit; her daughters, Tina (Nat), Joy (Robert) and Sugar; her siblings, Mary, Christine, Martha and John; her grandchildren, Julius, Belah, Charity, Faith, Jade, Josh, Tesfa, Salem and Abyssinia; and her great grandchild Zyanya. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, great grandchild. and other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations to be made in Margaret's honor to the Alzheimer's Society (Toronto Chapter).
