She was predeceased by: her father James Daffern. She is survived by: her husband Dan (H. King); her daughter Alanna Clark (Stuart); her granddaughter Victoria; her son James Newman (Pearl); her mother Marion Daffern; her siblings, Katherine Evans (Dave) and Brian Daffern (Rosalie); her mother-in-law Anne Newman; her sister-in-law Debbie Whitman (Shane); and her father-in-law Victor Newman. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mundell Funeral Home (79 West Street N, Orillia, ON L3V5C1). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. James' Anglican Church (58 Peter St N, Orillia, ON L3V6J6).
