It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Hainey (Scarborough, Ontario), who passed away on June 3, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Hainey to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ann; his son Colin; and his siblings, Robert and Susan. He is survived by: his siblings, Colin, Lawrence, Ronald and Linda; his children, Mary Ann Swan (Jerry), Isabel Gilbert (Art), John (Tammy) and Michael; and his grandchildren, Taylor, Emily (Daniel), Patrick, Colin, Isabella and Mackenzie.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Scarborough Health Network (SHN) Foundation, or to the Canadian Diabetes Association (Diabetes Canada), the latter of which honours our late mother, Maria. Dad always donated to this charity.
