Joan Allen Obituary

November 9, 1948 – July 14, 2024 Peacefully, with her family by her side, at Centenary Hospital on Sunday, July 14, Joan Allen of Scarborough and formerly of Dorchester in her 76th year. Beloved wife for 50 years of her late husband Ed Allen. Loving mother of her predeceased daughter Nancy (Geoffery) Toms and Wendy (Daniel) Winter. Proud grandma of Katelynn, Joshua, Michael, Matthew and Rebecca, and greatgrandchildren Theo and Myla.

Joan's faith in her Lord Jesus was very important to her and she greatly looked forward to being with her Saviour. She was the co-owner of Home Hardware in Dorchester, and before raising her children, an RNA (Registered Nursing Assistant). Joan will be greatly missed by her family.

There will be a private family funeral Saturday, July 20, 2024.
