We are sad to announce that on July 29, 2023, at the age of 100, Ibvm Donata Dean in Scarborough, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Dean and Catherine Chapman; and her siblings, Frank, William, Roseanne Dean and Bette Blackie.
She is survived by: her sister Catherine Teresa Terry; her nephew Paul Terry; her great-nieces, Catherine Terry and Elizabeth Terry; her sister Toronto Gore (Hamilton); and her friends, Caroline and Gord.
One of her contributions to education was in co-creating the "Mr. Mugs" reading series for the primary grades.
