It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carol Elizabeth Dowell-Gurr in Scarborough, Ontario, who passed away on November 17, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Allan Gurr; her children, Ken Dowell and Karen Forrest (Robin); her grandchildren, Eric (Erin), Stephanie (Michael), Allyson, Quinn, Logan and Sarah; her great grandchild Maisie; and her siblings, Barbara (Tom) and Steven (Shirley).
She is survived by: her close friend Murphy; and also, Ernest, Jeanette Morris, Bea and Frank Godsmark.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 28th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St E, Oshawa, ON L1H1B6). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Sick Kids Hospital.
