She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Francesco Leggio (Frank); her children, Giorgia (Nino), John (Anita) and Maria Teresa (Joe); her parents, Vincenzo Carroccio and Maria Teresa Carroccio; her parents-in-law, Giorgia and Giovanni Leggio; her siblings-in-law, Joe (Salvatricia), Sarina (Giuseppe), Concetta (Francesco), Salvatore (Silvia), Maria (Joe), Vincenza (Franco) and Carmelo (Wanda); her grandchildren, Michaela, Francesca, Jacob, Mario, Naomi, Gaetano, Leonardo, Gabriel and Benedetto; her siblings, Ciro (Carmela), Benedetto (Lucia) and Maria Rosa (Antonio); and her grandson Giovanni. She was also cherished by her nieces and nephews and all of her 9 grand children.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to be made to Margaret Behan Hospice in Benedetta Leggio's honour.
