Alonzo Stephen Blackwood Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Alonzo (Lonnie) Stephen Blackwood on June 15th, 2024 at the age of 77. Lovingly remembered by his wife Betty of 52 years.. Son Wade (Bettina) Blackwood & grandson Bronson. Leaving behind his two sisters Olive and Janette, sisters-in-law Marie and Annie Blackwood, Shirley Gill, brother-in-law Earl Feltham and Cyril Jones.
Predeceased by his parents Violet and Edgar Blackwood, his siblings Maxwell, Guy, Gilbert, Doris and Betty.
Alonzo was born in Glovertown, Newfoundland in 1947. He moved to Toronto in 1966, there he worked for CN & Via Rail for 32 years.
Cremation has taken place and the celebration of life will be in the summer of 2025 in Glovertown Newfoundland.
