He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce (Penfold); his former wife Marilyn (Cartwright); his child Kimber; his parents, Thomas Murray and Sarah Murray; and his sisters, Vi Corey (Jack) and Leona Duffield (Al).

He is survived by: his sons, Larry (Chris), Ken and Rick; his grandchildren, Nicole, Jeff, Jennifer, Brittany, Kerri and Richard; his great grandchildren, Kayla, Lawrence, Chase, Cole, Kassandra and Elsbeth; his great great grandchildren, Ben and Braden; his pets, Princess and Wanda; his children, Mark, Connie and Tom; and his brother Les Murray (Mary).
