He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Wardell and Delsie Marie Wardell; and his siblings, Margaret (Robert Young), Fred'Sonny' (Julian Wardell), Marilyn (Glen Allen) and Harry'Chummy'Wardell.
He is survived by: his wife Katherine Wardell; his sons, Jay Wardell (Tracey) and Greg Wardell (Kylie); and his siblings, Sharon (Paul Dubois) and Denise'Niecey'Wardell.
