Wayne Viita Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Viita (Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario), who passed away on October 22, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his uncle Henry. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his daughters, Kristen and Natasha (Mario); his sister Myra; his siblings-in-law, Sharon Watt, Roy Irwin (Sandra), Cathy Irwin and Larry Irwin (Linda); his mother-in-law Ilene Irwin; and also Flo. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions a private family service will be held at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road, 705-945-7758) on Friday, October 30, 2020 at 11:00 a. m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Stem Cell Research at Ottawa General Hospital Foundation or the Sault Area Hospital Cancer Care Fund would be greatly appreciated.
