He was predeceased by: his grandchild Jamie; his parents, Michael Wolowich and Irene Wolowich; his siblings, Miskor Zultek and Stanley Wolowich (Nancy); and his siblings-in-law, Ronald Johnson (late Rose), Gerald Johnson (Sharron), Elizabeth Fiacconi (Henry) and Lynn Johnson (Cathy).

He is survived by: his significant other Gwen Wolowich; his children, Ronald Wolowich (Debbie), Karen Crossman, Patricia Poirier (Rejean), Leanne Schmid (Terry) and Dawn Kuhlenbaumer (Roger); his grandchildren, Jeffrey, Mischa (Jacob), Gregory, Scott (Nicole), Natalie, Ryan (Tanya), Danny (Crystal), Tyler, Elisa (Chris) and Kellen (Jennifer); his great grandchildren, Trent, Isabel, Emma, Owen, Lilith, Logan, Daniel and Dean; his siblings-in-law, Marion Godfrey (Damon), Kenny Johnson (Barbara) and Leslie Johnson (Shirley); and his niece Irene. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
