He was predeceased by: his father Harry Whalen; and his parents-in-law, Joan Haner and Edward Stewart. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Whalen; his sons, Mark (Sharleen), Terry and Kris (Sue); his grandchildren, Dani, Haley, Grace, Ben and Joe; his mother Betty Whalen; his siblings, Sharon (late Tom) and Harry; and his close friend Bob Nelson.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the O'sullivan Funeral Home & Cremation Center (215 St James St, Sault Ste. Marie, ON P6A1P7).
