She was predeceased by: her husband Blair; her parents, Jack Cornish and Sophie Cornish; her grandson Jason McDermid (Shirley Gilpin); and her siblings, Dolly Roberts (late David) and Clarence 'Chic Cornish (Irene).
She is survived by: her children, Mark McDermid (Mary-Anne) and Joanne Rout (Bill); her grandchildren, Tyler McDermid (Roseanna) and Zack McDermid (Randi Sinclair); and her great grandchildren, Dylan, Sebastian, Jameson, Autumn, Theo and Isla. She is also survived by her family and friends.
