She was predeceased by: her stepchild Andrea Allan (Scott); her parents, Earl Darou and Florence Darou; and her siblings, Alec Darou and Alison Beaton.

She is survived by: her husband Bob; her daughter Sarah Sims (Jordan); her stepdaughter Melinda McDaid (Scott); her grandchildren, Easton, Emree Sims, Kaitlin, Mara Allan, Chris and Megan McDaid; and her siblings, Frank Darou, Diane McIver and Leslie McPeake. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews.
