It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Romilda Alfano (Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario), who passed away on July 25, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Tony (Colleen); her parents, Eugenia Ianni and Giuseppe Ianni; and her siblings, Emma (late Oscar) and Maurino (Rita).
She is survived by: her husband Vittorio Alfano; her children, Isabel Alfano Spiak (Andrew), Nancy Iezzi (Vince), Clara Iachetta (Andy) and Victor (Amanda); her grandchildren, Bianca, Ida, Teresa, Amanda, Anthony, Chris, Michael, Louis, Sarina, Brittany, Roy Jr., Amelia and Cohen; her sibling Geniale (late Giuseppina); and her siblings-in-law, Enzo (Mary) and Nancy (late Tom). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to O'Sullivan Funeral Home on Wednesday July 28, 2021, form 6:00pm-9:00pm (Masks and social distancing are required).
The family asks that instead of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Sault Ste. Marie Alzheimer's Society (payable to or online).
