He was predeceased by: his father Robert McIntyre; and his sister Theresa Meincke. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy McIntyre; his children, Krista (Ryan) and Bob (Lyndsay); his sisters, Vickie Sammon (Pat) and Jackie King (Harv); his grandchildren, Cooper, Lily and Katelyn; and his aunt Pat Stratichuk (late Stan). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in Bob's name to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation, Tracy's Dream, or the Canadian Cancer Society.
