He was predeceased by: his wife Mary; his son Jeff (Michele); his parents, Melville Falkins and Winnifred Falkins; and his father-in-law Milan.

He is survived by: his sons, Rod (Lisa) and Mark (Lori); his granddaughter Sara; his siblings, Ron (Judy) and Glen (Judy); his mother-in-law Rose Glibota; his sister-in-law Rosanne Vance (Steve); his nieces and nephews, Stephanie, Allison and Greg (Nicole); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Chole and Naomi.
