He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel and Rose Barnes of Birmingham; his siblings, Ron, Sam (Shirley), Gordon, Phyllis (late Fred) and Jim (Kay); and also Russell.
He is survived by: his significant other Veronica; his children, Wayne (Sheila), Bobbie-Jo (Mark) and Micheal (Catalina); his grandchildren, Carson, Keila, Yvonne, Cameron and Evan; and his nieces and nephews, Phillip, Andrea, Richard and Susan.
