She was predeceased by: her husband James Hammond; her children, Mary Teresa, Lori Davies (Phil) and Kevin; her parents, Henry Baum and Nora (Weigle); and her siblings, Dorothy Lemay (Cyril) and Harry (Betty).
She is survived by: her children, Cathy McCullough (James Egan), Jim (Lesley) and Ann Marie Hammond Fabbro (Jamie); her grandchildren, Christopher (McCullough), Caitlin (Castellani), Taylor, Sarah, Jon (Hammond), Sydney, Mitchel, Andrew (Davies), Jamie, Jessica (Fabbro), Katie and April (Hammond); and her great grandchildren, Hudson, Lucy, Oliver, Wilder and Rowan.
Rita lived her life in kindness so please consider, in lieu of flowers and memorial donations, passing on a good deed in her honour.
