He is survived by: his daughter Dawn Hooey; his grandchildren, Brandon Hooey (Deborah), Walter Collins-Hooey, Richard Collins-Hooey and Destiny Collins-Hooey; his great grandchild Phoenix Michelle; his siblings, Marilynn Broadhagen (Phillip), Gerry Hooey and Brian Hooey; his nieces and nephews, Kelly-Anne Rouix (Jody), Lori Hurd (Dave), John Lacelle (Cara), Chris Lacelle, Mike Hooey and Michelle Hooey; his sons, Scott Danz, Adam Tauvette, Rick Samson and Jason Paquin; and his friends, Barb Bedard (Edgar), Jeanne Martinsen, Lucille, Carol Newman and June Kment.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation (payable by cheque or online).
