He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joanne; his children, Frank O'Connor (Gail), Edie Anderson (Kevin), Laurie O'Connor (Kurt) and John O'Connor (Lisa); his grandchildren, Joshua (Felicia), Daniela (Bryan), Jasmine (Giancarlo), Adam, Jamie (Dani), Emily (Brady), Taylor, Jakob (Joleen), Mackenzie (Bobby), Caitlin, Liam (Avery) and Megan (Brad); his great grandchildren, Farrah, Rhyan, Roman, Violet, Theo, Matteo and Lola; his mother Rosemary O'Connor; his siblings, Rosemary O'Connor (late Jim Frazer), Sharon O'Connor (Ron Watters), Tom O'Connor (Elizabeth Meakes), John O'Connor (late Diane), Pat O'Connor (late Andrea), Kathleen O'Connor (Doug Holmes) and Dan O'Connor (Cheryl); and his siblings-in-law, Roxieann Lloyd (late Dave), Tom Belsito (Cathy) and Maxine Belanger (Phil).
Visitation was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, Sault Ste. Marie, ON P6A5K7). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Precious Blood Cathedral (778 Queen St E, Sault Ste. Marie, ON P6A2B1).
